The George A. Sloan is moored for repairs during Winter lay-up. She is seen with the Myron C. Taylor to the left in the Sarnia, Ontario commercial harbor, February 3, 2001.

History: The vessel was operated as the Hill Anex for her first year of service in 1943. In 1967 she was re-fitted with a self-unloader and in 1985, received the current powerplant. In 2001 the USS Great Lakes Fleet became the Lower Lakes Towing, LTD. and she is still in operation as the Mississagi.
