The
down-bound Oglebay Norton is taking her turn on
January 6, 2001. Ice in the St. Clair and Detroit Rivers has
reduced shipping to one way traffic. The ice breaker
Mackinaw
has been busy keeping one lane open.
History:
She
was launched in 1978 as Burn's Harbor. The
following year through 1991 she operated as Lewis Wilson
Foy. Since then she has operated under her current name.
