The down-bound Earl W. Oglebay is seen here passing an Oglebay family member, the Buckeye. This photograph was taken on a misty April 15, 2000 on Lake St. Clair between the Lake St. Clair Lighthouse and Seaway Island.

From her construction in 1973 until 1995 the Earl W. Oglebay was named the Paul Thayer.
