On April 14, 2000, one day before the above photography, the Buckeye is seen traveling down-bound in the St. Clair Cut-off channel. She is about to enter Lake St. Clair passing the end of Seaway Island. This is approximately 1 mile upstream from the above photographs. She is loaded with her cargo, running a lighter load due to the low lake levels.
