This Lighthouse Depot and keeper's house have fallen victim to the Brew Pub trend of the mid 1990's. Though most of the original Depot still stands, it is a shame to see a such historical piece of property reworked into a modern day establishment. The house, which stands right next door, still appears to be in rather good condition. The "Lighthouse Depot Brew Pub & Restaurant" was established in 1995 and has since gone out of business. The property went up for auction in January of 2001. At this time we do not know if there is a new owner or what lies in the future for this historical landmark. |
