Access : Car, and a 1/4 mile walk down the breakwater. Use caution on breakwater.

Directions : Take I-43 North of Milwaukee to exit #96 and head East on Hwy. 33 to Wisconsin St. about 2.9 miles. Take Wisconsin North 4 blocks to Jackson St. and turn East. Then turn South on Lake St. go one block to Pier St., easy parking is available here.

History of the Light : Constructed in "Arts Decoratifs" style, identical to the Indiana Harbor Breakwater Light. Like the Michigan City Light, this light took the place of the original Lighthouse constructed on a bluff overlooking the Lake. The original Light was constructed in 1889 and served to 1935 when the Light you see here was constructed. Currently the original Light is being restored by the Port Washington Historical Society.
