Access : Car, Parking near the Light. A breakwater separates the Light from the mainland, waves frequently wash over the breakwater, so use caution. By taking M-115 to Frankfort, follow this through town. This will take you right to the Light.

 

History of the Light : This Light guides ships into Betsie Lake and the town of Frankfort. With the numerous inland lakes, forests and the Sleeping Bear Dunes to the North this area is truly an "Up North" paradise. No shortage of things to do around Frankfort.
