The Black River Harbor is sponsored by the Michigan State Waterways Commission and located approximately 45 miles Southwest of Ontonagon. The harbor is operated by the U.S. Forest Service. The entrance to the man-made harbor is marked with a light at the end of the Northern breakwater.
