A State
Operated Harbor, Lexington Harbor is
located approximately 19 miles North of the St. Clair River Head.

The entrance to the man-made harbor is marked with buoys and lights
on the ends of the limestone breakwaters. Currently the water level
is very low so use caution when entering the harbor. Stay within the
marked channel. At this time the entrance is being dredged.
There is
a public park, playground and beach at this harbor.
This harbor is
also located in the Sanilac Shores Underwater Preserve with many
popular scuba diving sites nearby.
Note:
This is a popular weekend getaway for many people from the Detroit
area so plan accordingly.
