The
Harbor Beach harbor is sponsored by the Michigan State Waterways
Commission. This Harbor has two entrances. The main Eastern
entrance is deeper and used by the large Freighters. There is a
second entrance on the North side of the breakwaters, much
closer to the transient dockage.
There
is a public park, playground, grilles, picnic tables and dog run
at this harbor. This is a very well maintained harbor with
excellent facilities. Fishing off of the breakwaters is very
popular in this area. A short walk from the harbor is the Grice
House Museum. Here you can see exhibits showing the history of
this area.

This
large industrial building and stack, located inside the harbor,
clearly mark the city of Harbor Beach.
